College & Career Advisor
Carrie Paquette started as Timberlake High School’s College & Career Advisor in 2017. She is so excited to be here - she can’t imagine a more rewarding job than helping and guiding high school students in their journey to discover and makes plans for their lives after high school. She was previously a Clinical Eye Technician at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute and worked as a substitute teacher in the Lakeland School District. Prior to those roles, Carrie was a stay-at-home mom and an active volunteer in both the Central Valley School District and the Lakeland School District. She chaired and built many programs within the schools in these districts including the PTSA National Reflections Art Competition and the Lakeland High School Swim Team. She continues to serve as the team mom for the Lakeland Swim Team. Carrie has always been passionate about students and helping to open opportunities for them!
Carrie is originally from Montana where she grew up on her family’s wheat farm. She graduated Cum Laude from Washington State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After college she lived in Wenatchee, WA briefly and then moved to Spokane Valley where she lived for 12 years before locating to Rathdrum.
In her free time, Carrie loves spending time with her two amazing children - Cameron who is a freshman at Lakeland High School and Kylie who is a freshman at Gonzaga University. She also loves to boat, hike, bike, snowshoe, or anything where she is outdoors enjoying the beauty of North Idaho!
