Renee Vordahl has served as School Counselor of Timberlake High School since 2009.  Ms. Vordahl had previously served as a PE/Health teacher at Garwood Elementary, John Brown Elementary, Lakeland High School, Mtn. View Alternative High School, and Lakeland Junior High School where she also coached Track and Volleyball. Ms. Vordahl was also a former student in the Lakeland School District. Ms. Vordahl moved to Maple Valley WA, taught at Kent Meridian School Dist and then returned to Lakeland in 2006 as a School Counselor for Lakeland Junior High School. During her time at Lakeland Junior High she volunteered to teach Robotics in the classroom as a test pilot for the State of Idaho in order to expand academic options for students. Ms. Vordahl earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Lewis-Clark State College and Masters in Education Counseling and Human Services from the University of Idaho. Ms. Vordahl has two children, Kameron and Karson. She enjoys camping, waterskiing, fishing, 4 wheeling, dancing, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
