SAT and ACT

Choosing which standardized test to include in your portfolio is, without a doubt, an important part of your college application strategy. Most colleges and universities place equal weight on results from either test. This ambivalence provides an opportunity for savvy applicants to play to their key strengths as a result of the different structures of each exam. Currently the State of Idaho pays for its junior students to take the SAT once during school hours, on a specified day. This school year juniors will take the SAT on April 10th, 2018 with a make up date of April 24th, 2018. You may choose to take it again for a fee to improve your score. You may also choose to take the ACT to see if you do better on that test, which some Lakeland School District students do.
